BARLETTA ONION: High yielding early season variety. Produces semi-flattened bulbs with a tick neck and white skin, thin and delicate. Slightly spicy flavor. Sow in nursery, burying seed only superficially. Transplant to 40cm rows, 15 cm between plants within the same row. Fertilize with a 1-2-2 mixture. Harvest. For fresh consumption, transplant is unnecessary. With high plant density, small bulbs are produced, with a form just right for pickling.
