Description |
Semi-late cycle pole bean. Grows quickly and with extraordinary vigour, with a medium green foliage. Wide, short pods, ligth green in colour, containing 3 or 4 large, flat, white seeds. Used principally in dried form in paellas. ADVICE FOR CULTIVACION: Sow from May to October, at a soil temperature above 10ºC, in batches of 3-5 seeds. Maximum deoth 3 cm. Prefers permeable soils, Sowing to its sensitivity to ponding. Stake the crop. Water while pods are still gowing. |
TURNIP GRELO SANTIAGO: Authoctonous variety from Galiza, higlhy appreciated for its very tender stalks, with abundant intensely green leaves, with very slightly toothed edge and exquisite Taste. Cultivation: sow superficialy, with out leaving 10 cm. between each plant. |
PEPPER FROM PADRON (Capsicum annum L.): Small fruit variety, triangular in shape, with 2-3 heads and thin flesh. Quite early variety. Harvest the fruit whem young (2-3 cm.) and green. The pepper acquires a hot flavour when it has passed a certain development stage. Cultivation: sow in a sheltered spot. Transplant when the plant has 5-6 leaves and is 15 cm. tall. Keep soil cool and loose. |
CHARD AMARILLA DE LYON SELGA 100GR: Variety with numerous, large, erect, yelow-green leaves, white petiloes, thick and tender. Good resistance to cold weather and bolting. Sow in rows 50 cm apart with 10 cm between plants within the same row, at a depth of 10 to 15 mm. Thin plants to a distance of 20 cm within the same row. Fertilize with a 1-2-2 mixture. Harvest leaf by leaf. |
