SPINACH ESMER. Vigorous, erect plant. Medium green leaves, arow-shaped smooth leaf blades and long petioles. A very fast growing variety to grow from autumn to winter. Mildew resistant. Sowing: direct. Sow the seeds 2 cm deep spacing them 30 cm in all directions. Trasplanting: not tolerant.
LETTUCE TROCADERO 7GR. SUPERBOL: Variety that produces a round, slightly flattened, full head. Rounded yellow-green leaves with a bland flavor hold up well in transit. Sow: in nursery prepared with sand and peat or sow directly to field. Transplant: To 50 cm. rows, leaving 30 cm. between plants within the same row. Fertilize with 1-1-1 mixture.
JAPANESE COSMOS MIXED (Cosmos sensation): Plant with raised stems bearing single or double flowers blooming continuously. Annual cycle. Height: 120 cm. Sow: Outdoors in March - April. Flowering time: From July util October. Use: Cutted flower, borders, massive, isolated spots. Sunny locations preferred.
PENNYROYAL MINT: Perennial herbaceus plant measuring around 40 cm. in height. Spear-shaped, aromatic leaves and lilac flowers, which from a cyme. Has a minty flavour and is used in herbal infusions, either on its own or mixed with other herbs. Has medicinal properties as a stomach tonic, digestive aid and carminative agent. Cultivation: humid environment and fertile soil. The leaves can be used when green, or dried in the shade.
CORN JAPANESE HARLEQUIM ORNAMENTAL (Zea mays): Gramineae. The cob of this type of annual corn has coloured grains. Highly decorative. Used in dried plant bouquets. Grow in fertile soil. Climate: Highly adaptable.
FRENCH BEAN LINGOT 250GR. ROCALBA: Dwarf bush. For consumption of dry seed. Medium-early cycle. White and cylindrical seed. Flat-oval pod, 15x1.3 cm. Sow from May to October, at a soil temperature above 10ºC, in batches of 5-7 seeds. Maximum depth 3 cm. Prefers permeable soils, Sowing to its sensitivity to ponding. Stake the crop. Water while pods are still gowing.
